DOST extends Call for Applications to the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute Graduate Students Research Grant Program deadline until 03 February 2017

The Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD) has extended the deadline for the Call for Application to the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute (DOST-PNRI) Graduate Student Research Grant Program (GSRGP) until 03 February 2017.
PCIEERD funds this GSRGP, a 15-month research grant program implemented by PNRI aimed for the following:
• Provide funding support to graduate students conducting thesis and dissemination directed towards developing emerging technologies, exploring innovations and novel applications of Nuclear Science and Technology (S&T) in various fields;
• Promote the use of equipment, facilities, expertise and services of PNRI and extend its accessibility to graduate students;
• Forge researcher-student collaborations, generate publication and expand the development of emerging technologies in the Nuclear Science Research of the Philippines.
Qualified GSRGP applicants are graduate students from colleges and universities in the Philippines who are currently/will be conducting research study related to Nuclear S&T. It is a 15-month period commencing in January 2017 and requires the use of PNRI existing facilities, equipment and services of DOST-PNRI.
