DOST is once again inviting state universities & colleges (SUCs), higher education institutions (HEIs) and research & development institutes (RDIs) to collaborate with local private companies and submit proposals for funding under CRADLE for CY 2021.

In the CRADLE program, a private sector industry shall identify a problem of their industry, and the SUC/HEI/RDI shall undertake the necessary R&D to find solutions. This collaboration supports both basic R&D and the transition of R&D results to real world applications in the industry, benefitting both the academic and industrial sector in terms of R&D capabilities and innovative market advantages, respectively.

On 11 December 2020, the S4CP Team promoted the CRADLE call for proposals in Bicol through a virtual orientation/consultation attended by 100 participants, encouraging the SUCs/HEIs to team up with local private companies and submit quality CRADLE proposals for evaluation and possible funding.

Submission of proposals is open until 05 February 2021, 11:59 am. Reference materials, forms and guidelines are available at tinyurl.com/CRADLECFPCY2021.
