LGU San Pascual, Masbate one of six finalists in 2022 Search for Best CEST Community

The Department of Science and Technology recognized and awarded the communities that brought more impact to the people in implementing the Community Empowerment thru Science and Technology Program held on 24 November 2022 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City.

The Local Government of San Pascual headed by Hon. Mayor Zacarina A. Lazaro, together with DOST-V RD Rommel R Serrano, PSTD Masbate Josie D. Albao, and Municipal Agriculture Officer Alona C. Morales, received the plaque of recognition as one of the contenders for the award. The said community will receive Php200,000.00 worth of project for implementation as regional winner.

Other contenders came from Region 3, CAR, Region 8, Region 11 and NCR. The Municipality of Tublay in CAR was hailed as the Best CEST Community for 2022.
