The DOST V, through the Provincial S&T Office of Masbate, conducted the Pangkabuhayan Training on Breads, Cakes, Pastries, Peanut Butter, Noodles, and Lumpia Wrapper Making which will run on 09-10 May 2023 at the Landungan Training Center in the City of Masbate. A total of 84 participants attended from Women's Organizations, ARBOs, SLP beneficiaries, ELCAC beneficiaries, and local MSMEs in Masbate on day 1 of the training.

The training is in partnership with five (5) corporate sponsors: Aghies Bakery Supplies Trading, RFM Corporation, AgriPacific Corporation, ADSIA Euro Bakers, and Pan de Masbate and the Provincial Government of Masbate.

The Provincial S&T Director of Masbate, Ms. Josie D. Albao gave the welcome remarks where she gave the importance of learning the tricks of the trade from the masters themselves. She thanked the corporate sponsors for doing their social responsibility with the marginalized sectors of Masbate in mind as their beneficiaries. The six trainers are master chefs and bakers of Aghies Bakery Supplies Trading. On the last day of the training, a one (1) unit industrial oven from Aghies Bakery Supplies Trading will be raffled out to the participants while RFM and ADSIA Euro Bakers will give away aprons.
